About Me

  Born and raised in Locust, NC, I began my love for entertaining at an early age. With the encouragement and support of my family, I took to the stage at age seven and began honing my talents attending drama workshops at West Stanly High School, competitions and talent shows.

 

  Starting with my community theatre program, I gained 11 years of experience singing, dancing, acting and overall stage performance. Although I love each of these crafts my true passion was singing. My influences include a broad spectrum of performers spanning various genres of music from Christian/Gospel to Pop/Rock/R&B to Broadway.

 

  Southern Gospel and Christian music are a significant part of my life. I sang Southern Gospel with "The Singing Towers" for 13 years. I was also musical director for Loves Grove United Methodist Praise Band for 5 years.  My passion for singing and performing had also prompted me to share what I've learned with other young students as a Vocal Coach at Creative EJ in Huntersville, NC for 3 years.

 

  I love to sing and give back to the community. I've been invited to sing the National Anthem at multiple sporting events including the Charlotte Panthers, Sting, Hornets and Charlotte Motor Speedway. I've also sung the National Anthem as an opening for Keith Urban and Chris Cagle concerts.

 

  I have performed at many Charlotte and surrounding area venues as a soloist, duo, and in various bands. I frequently perform at charity fundraisers, weddings, funerals, nursing homes and other local events.
